The Georgian Bay Preservation Alliance is a not-for-profit corporation that provides residents, cottagers, and Canadians a voice and platform from which we can advocate on issues to promote a balanced approach to protecting Georgian Bay. 

We believe the most important attributes of Georgian Bay to protect are water quality and local environmental well-being. This is why, we are committed to ending the practice of sewage dumping in our waterways. In addition, we will be working with municipal governments in order to advocate for much-needed improvement to local water treatment plants so that the Georgian Bay Watershed is given its due protection.

Our Mission

1. Stop Sewage Overflows in Ontario - advocating and ensuring the stoppage of sewage overflows and dumping into the Georgian Bay and Ontario waterways.
2. Stop Blackwater Dumping in Georgian Bay - raise pollution fines for and stop blackwater dumping.
3. Update our Septic Systems in Georgian Bay - get septic systems up to par and create a reliable inspection system for them.
